The "Memorial Fund"

Pipe Major Rob Zimich plays at the site of nine line-of-duty deaths in Charlston, South Carolina (2007)

The "Memorial Fund" was established to cover the travel expenses of band members who have the honour of playing at memorials for "line of duty" deaths and other related Fire Service events. The fund is also the primary source of charitable donations made on behalf of the band.

The Calgary Fire Department and Local 255 of the International Association of Firefighters, both provide tremendous support for our band. Unfortunately, our membership must still spend a great deal of time and effort fund raising to cover expenses associated with the operation of the band.

Donations to the Memorial Fund, both private and corporate, are gratefully accepted. We owe a debt of gratitude to all who have supported us in the past through our many fund raising events.
